Groundwire is a softphone that acts as a suitable addition to our Yealink phones whilst you’re on the go.
Before You Begin
To set up Groundwire, you need either a Virtual Landline or Hosted PBX. The only difference in setting up the app is how you obtain the login credentials:

To find your credentials, go to your Invoco Portal:
- Click on “Account”
- You’ll then see this page.
- At the top, you will see 4 boxes. Click on “Documents” to find the file containing your credentials.
- Click “Action”, then “Download”.
- You’ll now see the necessary information:
- Username
- Password
- Server
Once you have access to this information, you can set up Groundwire on your iPhone.
Configuring Groundwire
1️⃣ Open the app—you’ll see the dial pad.
2️⃣ Click on the gear cog (top right-hand side of your phone).
3️⃣ Tap on “Accounts”.
4️⃣ Click the “+” icon.
5️⃣ Select “Generic SIP Account”.
You’ll now see the accounts page. Fill in the fields according to your Invoco account credentials:
- Username
- Username (again)
- Password
- Server
Adjusting Additional Settings
🔹 Tap on “Incoming Calls”, select “PUSH NOTIFICATIONS”, and click back.
🔹 Tap on “Advanced Settings”.
➡️ Scroll roughly halfway down until you find “Display Name”. Fill in the details referring back to your Invoco portal credentials:
- Username
- Username (again)
- Tap “Transport Protocol” and select “TLS (SIP)”.
- Type in *“97” for voicemail.
Final Security & Sound Settings
1️⃣ Tap “Secure Calls” (four options below the voicemail setting).
2️⃣ Set “Incoming Calls” to Enabled.
3️⃣ Set “Outgoing Calls” to Required.
4️⃣ Press “Done”.
You’ll now be back on the Accounts Page.
1️⃣ Tap “Settings” → “Preferences” → “Security”.
2️⃣ Turn off “Maximum Security” (it should show grey).
3️⃣ Go back to Preferences → “Sound”.
4️⃣ Turn all suppression features ON (they should show green).
